What results and benefits can I expect from dog walking multiple times a week?

You can expect a very happy and healthy dog. Knowing your dog is receiving the exercise attention they deserve will relieve your stress and guilt over not being able to give them that level of interaction during the day. Daily exercise is essential to your dog’s physical well-being and keeps them mentally sharp. A restless dog will become irritable and begin to destroy your belongings out of boredom, or just looking for excitement. We guarantee you will see a change for the better in your dog if you use our walking service weekly.

What requirements do you have for dogs in group dog walking?
Dogs must be leash trained, spayed or neutered, current on shots and current on flea and tick medication, and have no history of aggression towards pets or people. Also, your dog should be comfortable meeting new dogs of various sizes and comfortable with riding in a vehicle with other dogs to the walking locations.
Why is Walnut Creek the only city you provide service in?

Our service area is exclusively focused on Walnut Creek because we are an owner-operated business and prefer to maintain that personal touch. This enables us to provide personalized care without the distractions of extensive travel and to be close to our clients homes, allowing us to dedicate more time to enjoying the beautiful trails while hiking with your dog.

Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Yes. We are licensed, bonded, and insured. We are also Certified Dog Walkers through the DogTec Dog Walking Academy and trained in Pet CPR/First Aid. We are happy to provide you with a copy of these documents.
How long is the in-home consultation?

Plan to spend an hour at the in-home consultation. This time is set aside so we can to learn about your dogs likes and dislikes, their individual personalities, and medical history. Please have your key available for us at this time if you will not be home for pick up or drop off.

Do I have to sign any paperwork at the in-home consultation?

We will go over our Service Agreement and Veterinary Release and you will sign these during the visit. 

When is payment due?

We are a pre-paid service. For ongoing monthly dog walking service, payment is due by the 5th of each month to avoid a $25 late fee.

What are your key policies?

We have a “Ready Key” program that ensures the safety of your key if you will not be home for your dogs pick-up or drop-off . Once we get your key it is assigned a special code and it will be stored in our secure lock box. Your key code and address are always stored separately for security purposes. We recommend using Ready Key for safety and convenience.

Do you offer cat sitting?

As of September 2024, we no longer offer cat sitting services. As we focus on our Adventure Group Dog Walking and Hiking Program, we want to ensure your felines continue to receive excellent care. We recommend contacting Vet Tech Pet Care for cat sitting. They are a highly rated and trusted business with over a decade of experience in cat sitting since 2008. With their warmth and expertise, the team will ensure your cat continues to receive the same level of amazing care.
